This is a fanfic for the World of Warcraft fandom, written with original characters.
It is based on actual RP events that occurred on the US Realm of Sentinels. Those who are aware of Soryk Valchion, will likely be familiar with I Wound for Love, a series of journal entries and letters he received and sent, defined as his 'memoirs' in his time on Azeroth. Though previously thought to be removed, you can find the original here, though it's incomplete and will not be updated any time soon, if ever.
There's a good chance that it will be writings that some could consider socially controversial. As a result, I'll give any warnings that are necessary and filter them accordingly.

Background Statistics
Soryk Valchion is a Sin'dorei rogue controlled by his desire to spill blood, manipulate others, and can even be considered one who would be well on the pathway toward world conquest. There's much more to him than what it seems, however, and it takes a very special person to discover that. In a world that seems so horrifyingly grotesque and unfair, Soryk is doing what he believes is right.
This is the tale of how he came to become the man he was known as in Azeroth.

Character Statistics
[Subject to be Updated - 2009/04/21]
Valchion, Soryk: A rogue native to Quel'thalas, originally dedicated solely to his kind. He undergoes a terrifying transformation into the man he was known as in his memoirs. He's anything but what he seems, however, and It is for Ruin will dive into that.
Valchion, Aiom: Soryk's mother, a woman constantly ruled by her fear of being alone. As a result of this, she is determined to keep Soryk as close as she possibly can. She has never-ending faith in her husband.
Valchion, Seridor: Soryk's father, a Blood Knight in service to Kael'thas Sunstrider. He has traveled to the Dark Portal in order to bring back glory to his family. Though he is strict upon family values, he considers his to be one of the most important things in the world.
D'Aubigné, Ei`riya: An aspiring magistrix with great potential. She seems quite plain, but in Soryk's eyes, she is the most beautiful creature in the world. She stands for everything that Soryk is not. Her greatest desire is to stop the suffering of her people.
Milen: A fellow guardian of Kael'thas Sunstrider. A former instructor for Seridor when he was an initiate of what she referred to as 'the ring'. She was later surpassed by him and did not go along when he went to the lands beyond the Dark Portal.

The characters Aiom, Seridor, Soryk Valchion, Milen, & Ei`riya D'Aubigné are mine.
The name [Soryk Valchion] is a variation of "Kyros Valchion", which was originally a character created by A. Alandy.

This is dedicated to ~meil for all of her hard work, dedication, and her wonderful encouragement that she has placed in my direction.
If you are interested in seeing some lovely art and helping her out, she's accepting commissions, especially for people who play WoW.
Also dedicated to ~BadguyEX because I wouldn't get very far without his motivation. It was a combination of the two of them that helped Soryk really settle in well with Sentinels and make his imprint upon Azeroth's sands.
And of course, they helped me settle in on Horde side and it was because of them that I grew to love Horde more than the Alliance.
